General Terms of Use and Sale
These general terms ("Terms") govern the use of Bjet24: printing, enveloping, official postage and post office drop-off on behalf of the sender. They apply to consumers as well as to professional and public-sector customers, subject to the provisions specific to each category. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accept these Terms without reservation.

1. Definitions
- "Bjet24": Espero-Soft Informatiques SRL, publisher of the service, technical service provider.
- "User": any person holding a Bjet24 account.
- "Sender": the user who orders the sending of a letter and on whose behalf that letter is dropped off.
- "Recipient": the person to whom the letter is addressed.
- "Consumer": any natural person acting for purposes outside their commercial, industrial, craft or liberal-profession activity, within the meaning of Article I.1 of the Code of Economic Law.
- "Professional customer": any user acting for professional purposes (company — B2B — or public body — B2G).
- "Service": all the services described in Article 3.
2. Purpose and scope
Bjet24 is a technical online mail-sending service. From an uploaded document and an address, Bjet24 prints, envelopes, officially franks and drops the letter at a Belgian post office (bpost). Bjet24 is not a postal operator: carriage and delivery are handled by bpost or by foreign postal operators.
These Terms apply to any order placed on the Site or via the API. They prevail over any conflicting document of the user, in particular their own purchasing terms. Where an account agreement is signed with a professional customer, the specific provisions of that agreement prevail in the event of discrepancy.
3. Description of the service
The service notably allows you to send standard, priority, registered letters and international mail, to track mailings, to obtain drop-off proofs and legal archiving, and — for professional accounts — to access a prepaid wallet, invoicing, the REST API and accounting exports. The essential characteristics of each mail type are presented before the order.
4. Account and pre-contractual information
Use of the service requires creating an account. The user warrants the accuracy of the information provided and the confidentiality of their credentials. Before any order, Bjet24 makes available, in a clear and comprehensible manner, the information required by Article VI.45 of the Code of Economic Law: essential characteristics of the service, total price including all taxes, methods of payment and performance, and information relating to the right of withdrawal.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown before validation, starting at €2.63 incl. VAT per letter, postage and VAT included. The applicable total price is summarised before order confirmation. Payment is captured at order time via Stripe.
- The final price depends on the mail type (standard, priority, registered, international), page count and selected options (color, proof of receipt).
- If the mailing cannot be processed (invalid address, non-compliant document, format refused by bpost), you are fully refunded within 5 business days to the payment method used.
- B2B/B2G accounts benefit from monthly invoicing and decreasing volume tiers, according to the terms of their account agreement.
6. Right of withdrawal and consent to immediate performance
The consumer is in principle entitled to a period of fourteen (14) days to withdraw from a distance contract, without having to give reasons (Article VI.47 of the Code of Economic Law).
However, the Bjet24 service consists in printing and dropping off without delay a personalised letter according to the consumer's instructions. By placing an order, the consumer expressly requests immediate performance of the service and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal as soon as the service has been fully performed, that is, upon printing and drop-off of the letter, in accordance with Article VI.53, 1° and 13° of the Code of Economic Law (service fully performed with prior agreement, and goods made to the consumer's specifications).
As long as printing has not begun, the consumer may cancel their order and obtain a full refund of the amounts paid.
7. Drop-off and delivery times
Any letter validated and paid before 12:00 (business day) is printed, franked and dropped at the post office that same day. After that, drop-off occurs the next business day. On weekends and public holidays, drop-off occurs the next business day.
Carriage and delivery times to the recipient depend on bpost and foreign postal operators; they are not guaranteed by Bjet24. In accordance with Article VI.43 of the Code of Economic Law, failing any other commitment, the service is performed within thirty (30) days of the order at the latest.
8. Mail compliance and prohibited content
The sender warrants that the content of the letter is lawful and compliant with postal regulations: no prohibited or illegal content, no object or hazardous matter, no infringement of third-party rights or public order. Fraudulent, defamatory, hateful content, or content infringing privacy, is in particular prohibited.
Bjet24 may refuse to print or post a manifestly illegal document or one contrary to these Terms, and will then refund the relevant mailing. Bjet24 nevertheless exercises no systematic editorial control and is under no obligation to monitor the content of letters.
9. Registered mail and proof
For registered mail, Bjet24 provides the official bpost tracking number and the scan of the drop-off receipt in your client area. For standard mail, a photo of the dropped letter is kept as internal proof. These proofs evidence the drop-off by Bjet24, not actual receipt by the recipient, which is a matter for the postal operator.
10. Confidentiality and document processing
Uploaded documents are encrypted at rest (AES-GCM). The print room operates under a strict confidentiality agreement, with access logged in an audit trail. After post office drop-off, the file is purged according to your settings: default 30 days, up to 12 months for registered mail. The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.
11. Sender liability and warranties
The sender remains solely responsible for the content of the letter, the accuracy of the recipient address and compliance with applicable rules (GDPR, professional secrecy, third-party rights). Bjet24 acts as a technical service provider and exercises no editorial control. The sender shall indemnify Bjet24 against any third-party claim arising from the content of the letter or from a non-compliant use of the service.
12. B2B, B2G accounts and API access
Professional and public-sector accounts benefit from monthly invoicing, multi-user access, purchase orders, REST API and accounting exports. API keys and OAuth credentials are strictly confidential; their holder is responsible for any use made of them. Specific terms are set out in the account agreement signed between Bjet24 and the customer.
13. Limitation of liability
Bjet24 undertakes to provide the service with the diligence of a normally prudent service provider (best-efforts obligation). Bjet24 does not guarantee actual delivery by bpost, delivery times, or the absence of loss or damage attributable to the postal operator.
Except where prohibited by law, Bjet24's liability in respect of a mailing is capped at the amount paid for that mailing. This limitation does not apply in cases of fraud, gross or intentional fault, harm to life or physical integrity, nor in the other cases where such a limitation would be void under mandatory provisions. As regards the consumer, no provision of these Terms may prevent them from invoking the rights reserved to them by the mandatory provisions of the Code of Economic Law.
14. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a failure to perform its obligations resulting from force majeure, that is, an unforeseeable, irresistible and external event (in particular a postal strike, a general network outage, a natural disaster, an act of authority). The affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the event; if it lasts more than thirty days, either party may terminate without compensation.
15. Suspension and termination
The user may close their account at any time, subject to settlement of amounts due. Bjet24 may suspend or terminate an account, after formal notice that has remained without effect where the nature of the breach so permits, in the event of non-payment, fraudulent or abusive use, breach of these Terms or compromise of the security of the service. The legal obligations to retain drop-off proofs survive the closure of the account.
16. Personal data
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Uploaded documents are encrypted; they are accessible only to authorised print-room personnel for the time strictly necessary to dispatch the mail.
17. Complaints and mediation
Any complaint may be sent to info@espero-soft.com; Bjet24 endeavours to respond as soon as possible. Failing an amicable solution, the consumer may have free recourse to the Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur (Consumer Mediation Service) (https://mediationconsommateur.be) or to the European online dispute resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
18. Changes to the service and the Terms
Bjet24 may update the service, prices and these Terms. Any material change is notified by email at least 15 days before it takes effect. Orders in progress remain governed by the Terms accepted at the time they were placed. Continued use of the service after entry into force constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
19. Miscellaneous
- Severability: the nullity of a clause does not affect the validity of the others, which continue to produce their effects.
- No waiver: Bjet24's failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: the user may not assign their rights and obligations without Bjet24's written consent; Bjet24 may assign the contract as part of a reorganisation, without diminishing the user's rights.
- Language: in the event of discrepancy between language versions, the French version prevails, subject to the consumer's right to rely on the version in the language of the contractual relationship.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of the publisher's registered office. This assignment of jurisdiction does not apply to the consumer, who retains the right to bring proceedings before, or to be sued before, the court of their domicile under the applicable mandatory rules. For any question, write to info@espero-soft.com.
